Vacancy: Canyon Coal- HR Administrator (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)

The Company would like to recruit a temporary HR Administrator to be based at Head Office, in Sandton. 

OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: 

  • Must be familiar with all HR systems 

  •  Must be computer literate, as well as be familiar with any HR packages 

  • Must be able to organize and lead. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Assist with the selection and recruitment process of new employees. 

  • Assist line managers with advert preparations 

  • Draw up a training needs analysis, arrange and organize training programs for employees 

  • Assist the HR Manager in gathering information to be used for WSP, skills development and EE 

  • Liaise with administrators on sites to solve any HR queries 

  • Compile management reports, WSP, EE and any other reports. 

  • Deal with day to day provident and medical aid related issues 

  • Maintain employee personnel records and files  

  • Enforce safety, health and environmental integrity principles applicable to area of responsibility
