Vacancy: Gugulethu Colliery- Human Resources Administrative Assistant

The Company would like to recruit a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at Gugulethu Colliery, 13km’s east of Hendrina (Mpumalanga). 

DESCRIPTION: 

The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth flow within the Human Resources Department and ensuring all functions and processes of the department are carried out fairly and effectively with consistency. Oversees and executes various administrative tasks in accurate and professional way within Human Resources Department standard and procedure. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will be required to conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained. 

OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 

  • Good communication and Organisational Skills 

  • Should have excellent communication skills and must be fluent in English 

  • Solid administration and computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Office 

  • Possess a high level of ethics and confidentiality

  • Must be able to work in a team orientation 

  • Should be flexible and able to work in a multi-tasking role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide administrative support to HR Manager 

  • Ensure that salary reports and wages imports are submitted to relevant departments within the agreed deadline dates

  • Efficiently assist with the day-to-day HR operations on site 

  • Maintain quality control of employee personnel files (new and current) and other relevant Human  

  • Resource filing requirements in line with the company’s audit requirements 

  • Develop and maintain reports, sourcing correct information and ensuring all deadlines are met 

  • Assist with the recruitment process for vacancies in line with Group’s policies and procedures

  • Communicating with external business partners 

  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries on site

  • Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee information, submission of monthly payroll information 

  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise 

  • Interpersonal with good communicative skills
