Vacancy: Khanye Colliery - Finance Clerk

The Company would like to recruit a Finance Clerk at Khanye Colliery in Bronkhorstspruit.

DESCRIPTION 

The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth flow of processes within the finance and procurement department. 

OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Must be familiar with financial processes and take initiative in solving financial related problems 

  • Demonstrating an understanding of financial systems

  • Attention to detail and accuracy of utmost importance

  • Must be able to treat all information as confidential 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY 

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Maintain financial records carefully and precisely, entering accurate information into spreadsheets and making calculations based on previous and upcoming transactions

  • Interact with the relevant stakeholders, relaying information, answering queries and providing clear explanation on a daily basis 

  • Monitor invoicing, billing, payment postings and receipts

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and records, as and when required

  • Resolve financial issues quickly and tactfully

  • Attend to all administrative related issues 

  • Enforce safety, health and environmental integrity principles applicable to area of responsibility
