Vacancy: Khanye Colliery - Health & Safety Officer
The company is seeking to employ a qualified Health & Safety Officer for Khanye Colliery.
Requirements:
Work as part of a team
Attention to Detail and follow through
Communicate effectively at all levels
Ensure accurate administration of safety, health and environment procedures, rules and regulations
Ensure site compliance to all OSHACT/SHE legal obligations, policies and practices
Ensure all safety, health and environment audits are carried out in line with statutory requirements
Ensure required induction and safety training of all site personnel take place
Ensure all accident and incident investigations are carried out in line with statutory requirements
Knowledge of SHE initiatives and programs which are consistent to legislated requirements relating to the mining industry
Computer literate
4 years’ minimum experience
Valid driver’s license and own transport
SAMTRAC certification
COMSOC
Ability to monitor occupational health and safety standards
Risk Assessment
Attend to all OHS requirements to all parties on site including the appropriate PPE
Keeping the SHE files updated
