Vacancy: Stores Clerk X 2
The company would like to recruit two Stores Clerks to be based at Gugulethu Colliery 10km away from Hendrina.
DESCRIPTION
Ensure that all procurement queries/requests from internal and external parties are responded to in a systematic approach.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12
Must have a Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Diploma or BCom Procurement Degree
Good communication skills
Negotiation skills and people skills
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years’ experience in the mining industry, in the same role
OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
This position works on a rotating shift system
Computer literate – MS Office and warehouse management systems essential
Must be self-motivated with solid time management skills
Good knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in counting and recording inventory
Re-label stock Items as lists has changed
Issuing of stock required by site
Receipt and distribution of supply and equipment
Data capture of all transactions accurately and timely
General stores administrative work
Maintaining the integrity of the function by adhering to the prescribed procedures and policies
Responsible for good housekeeping
