Canyon Coal is committed to meeting the requirements stipulated in the Mining Charter, as well as the percentages as prescribed in the SLP for each mine. We offer learnerships, bursaries and internships to female applicants as well as we actively recruit female mine workers, machine operators, engineers, among others.

We vigorously support female equipment and service providers throughout the company procurement value chain, and are especially focused on the empowerment of women in local communities. We are proud to have women throughout the Canyon Coal Group at the mines and at head office, at all levels including senior positions.
