Vacancy: Phalanndwa Extension - Electrician

The company would like to recruit a Electrician to be based at Phalanndwa extension in Delmas. The purpose of this role is to ensure repairs, legal inspections and maintenance of plant and other equipment

Skills and Knowledge

• GN4 Certificate

• Electrician Trade Test

• Computer literate

• Valid driver’s license

• Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

• Understanding of Mine Health and Safety Act

• Physically fit and able to pass a medical/fitness test

• Medium voltage training

• 3 years ‘experience in the Mining industry

• Medium Voltage switching

Duties and Responsibilities

• Electrical legal inspections

• MCC maintenance

• E/L testing

• General Electrical maintenance

• Light circuits fault finding

• Panel wiring

• Panel fault finding

• Conveyor maintenance

• Generator fault finding

• Transformer maintenance

• 11 KV switching
